Its time for another one of Roxana’s Chocolate Parties!.
This month our secret ingredient is COFFEE!
Now the problem with the secret ingredient being coffee is I can’t get enough of it. So if I make a pot, I’ll keep drinking it and it never gets in the recipe! I have no shame. Turn the pot off and I’ll even drink it cold, room temp.
I made this milkshake recipe a while back and I wasn’t 100 percent satisfied so like I do, I played around with the recipe. It still has a bunch of my favorite’s going for it including, oreos, coffee ice cream and chocolate. I tweaked the recipe a bit and it came out delicious.
Mocha Milkshake with Oreos

- Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coffee ice cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup cream or half and half
- 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 6 oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 teaspoon coffee liquor or instant coffee
- simple syrup or corn syrup for glass rim
Directions
Pour crushed oreos onto a plate.
Dip glass into syrup and crushed oreos and refrigerate.
Heat cream to boiling point, quickly remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips to melt. Set aside to cool.
Place all ingredients and remaining oreo crumbs into a blender. Pulse to mix. Pour into chilled cookie rimmed glass. Enjoy!
