Bourbon Maple Turkey Ham glazed and ready for your Easter table. A hint of orange makes the flavor pop!
We eat a lot of turkey ham all year. I often make slices for quick dinner meal. Even a lazy Sunday breakfast might see a slice or two.
This year my guy works on Easter so a simple dinner is in order. Glazed Bourbon Maple Turkey Ham, buttered red potatoes and side of broccoli is all we need.
If you can’t find Bourbon maple syrup you can add 1/2 teaspoon of bourbon or rum extract with regular maple syrup. I used Crown Maple brand.
Ingredients
- 1 to 2 pounds turkey ham sliced 1/2-inch thickness
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons bourbon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon brown mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, juice, syrup, mustard, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce and thicken to about 1/2 the volume.
- Place turkey ham in baking dish. Pour glaze over top, Bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes and until glaze thickens.
