Cajun Tuna Grilled Cheese melt adds a bit of spice and bronzed tomatoes to this popular sandwich.
It’s National Grilled Cheese Day and Festive Foodies has you covered. Thanks Christie from A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventuresfor hosting our event!
Grilled cheese has been a staple in my house forever. It’s the first thing I think of for a quick lunch. You can eat these sandwiches any time of year.
Everything tastes better with cheese. Grilled cheese has to be the most versatile sandwich out there. I enjoy it with ham, turkey, tomatoes and yes, tuna.
Melts can be thrown into the mix. In reality these sandwiches are a form of grilled cheese. Bread, cheese, add tuna and grill.
I don’t think we need a recipe to make a grilled cheese, right?
I like to grill the tuna separate so the sandwich isn’t soggy.
Add a bit of Cajun seasoning to drained tuna and grill. I like to add bronzed tomatoes and sharp cheese.
Fry the tomatoes lightly with seasoned salt. Buttered pumpernickel with sharp cheddar works for me!
