Homemade Tomato Soup
Ingredients
- 3 large tomatoes, peeled and seeded
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1 cup tomato juice or water
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes. Reduce heat, simmer for 45 minutes uncovered. Puree and serve.
