Tangy Tomato Chai Steaks with Saucy Grilled Spuds
Chai Chipotle Chup makes a perfect marinade for steak. The flavor remain with the steak after grilling.
Saucy Everything pairs wonderfully with potatoes. A bit of heat and enough flavor to stand up to grilled anything!
Ingredients
Tangy Tomato Chai Steaks
- 1 lb strip steaks
- 1 cup Chai Chipotle Chup
- 1/4 olive oil
- salt and pepper
Saucy Grilled Spuds
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup Saucy Everything mayo
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
Instructions

- Whisk together Chai Chipotle Chup and olive oil. Place steaks in resealable plastic bag. Add marinade.
- Refrigerate from one hour to overnight to marinate.
- Remove steaks and pat dry on paper towels. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Grill to desired doneness. (140 for rare, 165 for medium) Serve with additional Chai Chipotle Chup if desired.

- Mix together Saucy Everything, onions and peppers. Set aside.
- Brush grill with vegetable oil.
- Rinse potato slices to remove starch for better cooking. Place slices on hot grill and flip halfway through cooking time, approximately 5 minutes per side.
- Top with sauce.
